I have fully recovered! Although, I am supposed to be cooking a jerk chicken recipe this weekend. It calls for Scotch Bonnet peppers...needless to say, I WILL be wearing rubber gloves while preparing this recipe!!

I have had it more that once and I don't know less than a million?
They have ranged from very good to very bad. One of the more interesting brews I had was somewhere around 190 proof, but the maker tossed a cinnamin stick into the jar before sending it out. It was a strong contender among anything you could get on the legal market.

I don't know if I could bring myself to drink any of it now, whenever I hear the word moonshine, I think about the first scene from "The People Vs. larry Flint" where the old man was so blind from drinking it that he had to hold the dollar bills about two inches from his face just so he could tell what they were.

This was my own thread and suddenly I was hungry for some good Tex Mex chili so I am making a big pot for supper. Yum Yum. I remebered my last experience and Greg's and used a spoon to scoop the chopped jalapenos in there. No way am I ever touching peppers or hot sauce again. Can't put the nasty stuff in there cause Mom has to be able to eat it. I leave that up to later additions.

My son wanted to order some hot sauce for his Dad for Father's Day after I showed him that page on Scoville ratings so in searching again I discovered this one. Who buys this stuff??? How hot is enough? This one one is rated at 7.1 million Scoville Units For a tiny sum of $110 you can experiment with spontanious Human Combustion. I have really learned alot from this thread. What ever happened to the simple hot pepper?

Do they put that stuff in a can made of rocket material? You asked what ever happened to simple hot pepper. One day you'll probably be listening to rap music on the easy listening station.
