Talking A Great Big Thank You RP!!

I've been a dedicated GIMP user for years..
Even after I switched to a Windows XP machine I continued to use GIMP.
But... this week I purchased PSP X2 from Amazon because they had it for $25 and some of the groups I have begun participating in require not just that you are able to use .psd files, but that you have PSP.

And then I discovered that I couldn't save layered PSD files..
That was a pain, since I could open, alter, and save as PSD in GIMP.. but in X2 I couldn't save as and maintain the layering. So off to Google for the searching.. and I arrived here, where another user had this same issue! It was an old old thread.. posted in Jan '08. But it answered my question, solved my problem and TADA! Now I can save .psd files and maintain the layers.

I'm still shaking my fist at X2, and will not give up GIMP.. but thanks to you all here I have not completely given up on Paint Shop. And I shall use it and play with it, and learn more about it. Probably showing up here every time it fails to do what I demand it do so that I can figure out WHY it isn't following orders like a good little program.
