New Guy on the forum. Hello Guys, I am a new member I am a keen photographer in my 70th year (Strictly amateur) and I wanted to introduce myself. I am from Liverpool in the UK... I haven't a clue if I am posting in the correct forum or not, If I not in the correct forum, I do apologise, and Hope that some kind soul will point me in the right direction. I hope to be posting quite a bit here, for help more than likely, my family have just bought me Adobe Photoshop CS4, which looks bewilderingly complicated to me, a picture is more simple than words, to me. Take care. Judda.

Re: New Guy on the forum. Welcome to RP Judda... You are in the right place and we look forward to seeing you on the forums. To be sure PS CS4 is a considerable amount to digest, but definitely manageable "one bite at a time." There are many here who will be happy to assist.

Thank you for your welcome, it is appreciated. I do have photos of my birthplace, (somewhere I think a bit of discipline is needed. I will learn how to post some photos if I can, I would be glad to share them with you, If there is any location you wanted photographing, I will be glad to oblige. I have some wonderful photos of the Queen Mary 2, recently docked in Liverpool, I would like to post one or two of those if permissible. I will try and find some information on how to post the photos, before I ask all my intended questions LOL. Take care, and thanks again. Judda.

Re: New Guy on the forum. Judda here is a link that will help you with posting Yes we only post small images (small as in file size) but that means that images are always here, but you can include a link to a bigger size image at a image hosting site Should you ever find how to be disciplined then do pass on any tips because most of us or not As for where to post there is the critique area or retouching ( if you want any part altered like colour etc) or photo art ( if you want to see what a photo looks like after some arty treatment) or even restoring for all the old photo's in other words there is enough here to pass away lots of winter days and nights all the best Palms

Hello Palms1, I appreciate your kindness to a new member like myself by showing me the information necessary to post my photos. I have printed out the info, (I forget very easily, I'm afraid I will try and inwardly digest the information, and as a last resort I will ask my daughter Susan to help me, she is an angel when help is needed. I look forward to posting soon and regularly. Thanks again Judda.
