Newbie Good Schools or Classes for retouching in NY?

Hi, I hunting around for either some continuing education or a Graduate program for photo retouching/computer art. I like the retouch web cast and I get a lot out of them. But I think I need a "class room" for what I can't get on the web.

I live Jersey but can easily commute to New York.

Does anyone know of or has heard of any good programs?

Thank you for your time, Artist55

I've taken a class from Maria Ferrari and learned a lot. Some of the camera stores offer classes as well depending on your skill level. Check out Adorama's website.

Thanks for the help guys I might take advantage of both. But does anyone know of any schools with programs. I'm self taught and taking a lot of online classes but I really would like program that will help show me what I need to know if I want to do this as a career.

Any thought?

The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan has a great retouching class taught by a phenomenal professional retoucher named Carrie Beene. She is an incredibly gracious and nice woman who will share tons of tips and techniques.
