Hello! New here! Professional Beauty Retoucher

Hello all- introducing myself here I guess....

I'm a professional high-end retoucher working full time for the biggest, bestest companies ever! I am always right which means you are always wrong. I am awesome.

Just joking. =) I don't like stupid introductions where people brag and talk themselves up so I'll just say, I will consistently be learning new things and I will consistently have a deep rooted Need to learn new things. Learning is my hobby which is a good one because you can't run out of new things to learn! I have yet to learn parkour... contact me if you can give me a crash course.

Advice, collaboration, mentoring, critique, paid work, and green skittles are very welcome.

  • My favorite color is brown.
  • I never laugh at people's insecurities.
  • I study quantum physics in my spare time.
  • I ate half a roasted cockroach in cambodia two months ago.
  • Kindness is of utmost importance to me.

Welcome.

Nice work on those examples. Whats your favourite method of cleaning skin? =)
or do you use combination of couple?

Thank you! I'm hoping to learn a lot here. For skin I definitely use a few different techniques depending on how much skin texture is available on the original image, what file type it is, and how much time I have to work on it. Generally I find a combination of heal and careful cloning with non destructive dodge/burn to clean it up. It's quick and retains perfect texture as well as allowing me to do light contouring for the risky parts like cheekbones/jaw/temples, and is quick... I never, ever blur though. I would like to learn some alternate ways though if you think it would help. Advice or critique on skin work is welcome. =)
