those files are hj split files. You can download the program from here its free.
once downloaded install the program. after install move all the 00x files into a separate folder (for ease of use). Run HJ split choose the join command, I will ask for the first file, browse to the folder with the files and choose the 001 file open and then click on start. it will join the files together and add the extension appropriate for the file. its pretty easy to use. Its similar to rar files or multi zip files. the extension is embedded in the file.
