New card from Jacquie Lawson - beautiful !!

Chudleigh's Country Cousins is another Pelmanism puzzle where you have to click on two identical illustrations to open the space behind them to see the final illustration -- it's full of lovely animations, and you may not be in any hurry to solve it. When you do, you are rewarded with a chance to click on the picture and let Chudleigh run through the Sussex Downs countryside -- which looks exquisitely beautiful even in illustration form. (Palms, is it a wonderful place to wander and see only countryside?).

You can play it again (Lyle, it's easier when you know which animals to look for ). I think she does beautiful work, and I especially love her cards with animals (Chudleigh, the cat, the teddy bears, the birds... and this time with so many types of wildlife).

I'm glad you folks enjoyed it too. Does anyone know if Sussex Downs is as beautiful as described in the card illustration?

I can confirm that Sussex (also all of the south east) is like this rolling hills, villages and historic houses and castles. Unfortunately most of us that live in the area don't appreciate what we have nearby.

Christine -- thank you for the wonderful news. I can remember watching "The Sound of Music" (in the theater during its original run - circa '65) and mentioning to the friends I was with that all that beautiful countryside might be gone "now" due to development... They looked at me, and slowly explained that the movie had just been filmed recently (I knew that) and that the scenic beauty should still exist. I had been caught up in the movie and the time period that my mind was still "in the late '30's". So, it's good to hear that Sussex Downs is also - still there, even though Jacquie Lawson just said it was in her card.

get out of the cities in the UK and there is gorgeous countryside and quaint villages all over both north and south ( although the weather is usually better south ) maybe it would be a idea for a photography thread (although it would have to be one for each country) to highlight the countryside where we live ?
