Newbie to forum reporting in!

Hi all, I've just joined this forum. For some reason I put off joining some time ago. I live in Thornton-Cleveleys near Blackpool in the NW of England and have been into photography for 26 years and image manipulation since Photoshop first came out c1993. The amount of scanning I carried out was frightening!

I no longer use a film camera and went totally digital about 5 years ago. I use a Canon EOS 40D at the moment with either a Canon 100mm f2.8 macro, 24~105mm IS f4L or a 70~200mm IS f2.8L lens mounted on it. I soon hope to move to a full frame camera such as the Canon EOS 5D mk2. Digital suits me far more than film ever did and I enjoy shooting in raw format so I can tinker with my images at a later stage.

Photography is a serious hobby to me and with having 2 boys and 2 girls, I'm never short of portraiture fodder. I enjoy other types of photography and tend to jump from one type to another regularly. Hopefully I've not bored you all to death yet?
