Cool Hello from central Arizona!

Happy Thanksgiving fellow shutter addicts! I found a link to this site in a forum post at Dailyawards.com and thought I'd check it out and perhaps learn more about editing. I only have PS3 but it is daunting and I only know the basics.
I have one advantage in landscape photography as I live in Sedona and anyone who is familiar with the area knows what I mean.
I'm just starting to get into RAW and want to learn how to make my images really pop!
Again, greetings to all and enjoy the day!
Gary

Re: Hello from central Arizona!

Gary, welcome to RetouchPro! You are very fortunate to be living in Sedona. Red Rock Crossing with Cathedral Rock in the backdrop makes for a really beautiful HDR scenic. Enjoy you visits and learnings here at RP.
Regards, Murray

Re: Hello from central Arizona!

Thanks much Murray! I know a better spot (when the pools have water) to capture Cathedral Rock and it's usually not crowded!

Re: Hello from central Arizona!

I will have to get the coordinates from you for the next time I am up there. But don't know when that will be.
Thanks & regards, Murray

Re: Hello from central Arizona!

Well Murray, I don't have a GPS but I've never been lost (fearsome confused for a week or two but never lost)! Contact me and I can easily explain how to get there.

Re: Hello from central Arizona!

Thanks, I will do that. I remember being so taken when I took my very first shots there that I did not notice the hydro wires running across the side I was shooting. Thank goodness for the Stroke Path using the Healing Brush in Content Aware mode.
Regards, Murray
