Angry Birds - the iPod app

Anyone else hooked on the iPod app - "Angry Birds"?

I really didn't think I'd get hooked on such a game, but I went from the free app to a $.99 seasonal version so I could play more (!!!)

Gotta get those pigs!!

I play it at times, but wouldn't call myself hooked. Perhaps it's because I got stuck on one of the first levels

Hooked? Not me. I could quit any time if I wanted to. Really.

Re: Angry Birds - the iPod app

Just got an Ipad and am knee-deep in apps right now. Can't believe the stuff thats for free out there.

Wonder if "Angry Birds" is available for the Ipad too. Might as well add one more......what the heck!

If Shuffle board/poker is available for the Ipod, I recommend it...(freebie)

Re: Angry Birds - the iPod app

Steve - that's so cool that you have the iPad, and Angry Birds has apps for the iPad. It IS amazing what is available for free, and there is a free "lite" version of Angry Birds plus a "seasonal" version for only 99 cents. According to some reviewers, the newest update of the regular paid version nags players to pay for the use of an additional "angry bird - the eagle", so I'd avoid it for now. Angry Birds: "The survival of the Angry Birds is at stake. Dish out revenge on the green pigs who stole the Birds’ eggs. Use the unique destructive powers of the Angry Birds to lay waste to the pigs’ fortified castles. Angry Birds features hours of gameplay, challenging physics-based castle demolition, and lots of replay value. Each of the 210 levels requires logic, skill, and brute force to crush the enemy."

I'll have to check out the shuffle board/poker. Nancy, I can understand why your "boys" don't want to give it up, but sharing is an important concept for husbands and sons, so they just need a lesson. Or you need to stay up later than they do...

OK now I'm beginning to chirp and fuss like these birds. It gets you caught up pretty quick. I can get used to a nice "take your time" game like this. Hate the frantic ones based on doing something within a time limit.

Thanks for the info.

this is what we decided to get with our iTunes Christmas gift cards;

iPad apps/games;
Real Racing HD
if it's for DS or DH ~ I can't say
Osmos
looks like a nice calming game
Kuboku (3D sudoku)
Cut the Rope (DS's request)
100 Cameras (Trey Ratcliff's app)
Cover Oranges (DS loved the free version so we upgraded)
Thereminator (yes we are total nerds because we love Theremins)
Pictureka! (hidden pictures, yay!)
Soundprism (we have Beatbox by Savage apps and love it, this looks like a great way to play with music)
