I'm a retired IT person, so I can tell you for sure having photography for a hobby is a great diversion from the bits, bytes and pressure of IT.

From one Dan to another... WELCOME. I am new here myself. Hope to be seeing you around in the forums. I myself am a bit of a photographer - by necessity mostly, but I enjoy learning and getting better at it. Again, pleased to make your acquaintance.
