Hello, I found this site while looking for color restoration tutorials.
I am primarily a stay at home father, but do a decent bit of Freelance work on the side. Currently 100% of my work is restoring old theatrical posters to be used as dvd covers for a major film studio. Mostly I just deal with tears, holes, creases, water marks, stains and removing hand written notes. On occasion I get an image that was in multiple pieces and have to realign them. I found this site while looking for tutorials on color correction and fashion retouching. I am completely self taught, and am looking to broaden my skill set.
From first glance it looks like I have found a great resource in the members of this site. I look forward to learning and offering advice when able. |
