one of those "duh" moments

after being a member for ( gosh another "duh" moment) 6 years and moaning away to myself,
I have found out that when i reply/or post instead of forgetting to change the notification option i can set it to what i want in the usercp section
the times i have forgot to do this and had to go into edit to alter it

any one else had any "duh" moments lately ?

Well yesterday I made a cup of instant coffee and then I put the kettle in the fridge and put the milk container where the kettle usually sits. How's that for a "dah" moment.

Before I leave I always do a pocket check. Make sure my wallet and keys are where they are supposed to be. Just yesterday I did a pocket check and my keys were not in their designated pocket. I freaked out for a moment, then I realized they were in the hand that I used to check to see if they were in my pocket.
Duh!

That is a good one Joe i too have found a few things in the fridge that shouldnt be there !

and Stroker i do the same thing but with my glasses i hunt around for ages only to find them on my head ! !

Here's mine *groan*...

I awoke late for work, hurried through the morning routine of getting showered, shaved, etc.

I quickly rush into the closet and grab my boots (I commute to work on a motorcycle).
I put my boots on, and head out of the bedroom - in the hallway I look down and realize:
I am in my shirt and boxers.

I went back to the bedroom, removed my boots and put on my pants....DUH!!
