new member - question

Hi there, I am totally new to this forum. Thanks for having me in. I am a professional photographer from Belgium. I work with canon camera's and L-lenses, with Aperture 3, Nik Software products, True Grain, ..; I am quite a bit into B&W photography. My printer is an Epson Stylus Pro 3880. I am quite fond of Epson Traditional Photo paper as it comes close to the texture of analogue b&w prints. Yet, I would like to be able to experiment with non-Epson paper (like Ilford, ... ) and I can't manage to find out how to get the right paper definition codes into my printer software. If anybody could put me on the way, I would be much obliged. Cheers; leo

Hi leo and welcome to the forums
For Ilford papers you just go to their web site under support (you will need to register) http://www.ilford.com/

There are two sections under support. One for the ICC profiles you would need to install and the other on the printer settings. Their information is quite complete. Hope that helps.
