New member with a TON of questions!!!

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the site, and also relatively new to the business: although I've been retouching photos professionally for the past two years, I recently decided to go freelance. I decided it would be a good idea to reach out and network with other photo retouchers, and so far it's been a great experience. But I have oh so many questions, about technique, about running my freelance business, and about other things as well.

I'd be happy to go on and on about my experience, but for the sake of the forums I'll say that I'm proficient in Photoshop, with room for growth (as always). I have a modest portfolio of product images, landscapes, interiors, and original artwork--all retouched, silhouetted, composited, and otherwise edited in Photoshop.

If anyone has some suggestions or bits of wisdom for me now that I'm starting out, I'd really appreciate it.
