Just Another Newbie;)

Hey all, My name is Robin and I'm joining you all from the panhandle of FL
I've been dabbling with retouching pictures for about a year now, and actually came across this place looking for some help with a picture that I got of a good friend of mine that I kinda don't want to mess up lol. And Lo and behold the WEALTH of knowledge here is absolutely mind boggling!So I'm going to get lost here in the tuts and see if I can't make her grainy icky picture look at least half-way decent (well to the best of my ability anyhow lol)
I also do some photomanipulations as well, so I'm a little familiar with Photoshop (cs5 is my weapon of destruction) and hope to learn more about it here as well. Thank you for having me
