I'm in the wrong business.

This one will drive many here insane (almost did me {but I might actually already be}; lol). $4.3 million for a picture? Really? Says, this guy uses artistic techniques with some digital manipulations for his art. Again, I need an agent me thinks. lol

Thinking about changing my last name to Krolsky. That's gotta be it. What you all think? lol

Give Krolsky a break. He had to set the camera to 'cloudy', wind down the car window, snap the pic and then get the colours right in PS. "Cash or cheque sir and would you like it wrapped?"

Good point Palms. Hey, we should all get in touch with the buyer and suggest that as he likes the picture so much he should spend another fifty quid and get the colours really really nice.

You don't get it, it's a representation of the duality of the world through the prism of a philosopher's eye.

Re: I'm in the wrong business.

lol; I still think it's gotta be in the name. Lisle Krolsky (what the heck; lol. The name Lyle got it's origin in the German/French Alsace word for Island; lol). Krol is Polish, and some believe that Kroll is too (but don't tell my Uncle, may he rest in peace; lol). Lisle Krolsky; think I can get use to it; now where's my $5.3 Million. lol

Arguable better then the more then mundane (but I will admit quite straight) snapshot that some idiot paid over $4.3 million for Palms. Man, life really is unfair. lol

I like converting photos into attractive paintings but most traditionally-based artwork, I just don't get...

Re: I'm in the wrong business.

AD Reinhardt did paintings of solid 'black' paint on canvas in the 60's [if you look close enough, not 'solid' black]. He was considered a genius.
