Lovely looking cats and the bonus is if short of cash then they can always be hired out as Blowfelds cat in the James Bond movies

Hi everyone!

...I just couldn't let this one pass....

I've always had both...cats and dogs and I've had horses as well...and...and...and..
In other words I just love animals!!! , but, like Lisa, even though my nature makes me feel more like a cat, i'd always go for a dog...I simply adore them....
I think cats are smarter...but dogs, usually, don't hold back in giving you all the love they are able to feel!!!!

If you don't pick him up and make a big fuss when you come in he is like a dog.
DefinAtely a laid-back, southern(Canada)-drawl kinda kitty. Looks rather like it would take a strong arm to pick him up, but maybe it's just a small table he's on.

I love both, but I own a cat because they're much lower maitenance. Kenny is perfectly content just to hang out on my lap, whereas if I had a dog I'd actually have to leave my computer sometimes.....

Hadn't seen this before.

I'm most definitely a dog man.

Just can't see the point in having a pet that gives you no feedback and that you kick out of the house so it can be a nuisance to everyone else (cat).

With a dog you know where you are. Always on your side, always glad to see you. Sure the maintenance is a bit harder, but the best things in life always need working for.

Lastly, I've never seen a burglar avoid a house with a cat, whereas my 2 dobermans have kept intruders well at bay. Other houses around me have all been hit, but mine always seems to be the one they miss.

My rescued hound was never out of a puppy mill cage. She had no hair, was heavily scarred from fleas, emaciated, physically abused, heart worm positive and wild as a hare. You don't want to see the before, but here's after 9 months of TLC and voice training. Skid row to the country club...skip

The passing of more than just time

I have just reread the post put on in 2002 and now we are down to just one of our pets and that is Towser the staffy and he is an old man of 14 now .Thats 91 in our years. Allie cat got cancer in her jaw a couple of years ago and then not too long after that Zeppy got to be so infirm thta she was falling over so we had to have her put to sleep also, very sad but a necessary and a dignified exit for them both. still miss them.

Keep the dogs coming! Here's our latest, and she's 19 months old now. We have some real good looking animals on the site.

I think the hardest part of living with dogs/cats is knowing that usually they will leave us I still have 2 dogs (same two but much older) and 3 cats -- but only one of the cats was with me when I first posted. Ginger lived to 20 yr. and Cupcakes to 17; they also had a dignified exit. Toffee and Pepper have joined Sunny to outnumber the dogs (even though it only takes one of them to make the dogs back off).
