Hi everyone,

Just signed up so I wanted to drop a note and say hello.

I'm Maa from Sweden, retoucher within the pageant business and also a web designer. I looking forward to getting to know everyone. Looks like a great group of people

How did you get the complexion so smooth?

I'm using Photoshop 7 for all my design work and they have a great new tool called "healing brush tool" as I always start working with. Then I'm painting with my "brush tool" til I get it just right. I paint in different layers using not more then opacity 20... When I feel I'm finished with the picture I always end up using the "blur tool" to get the shiny look.

Just visited your website, very nice! You've done some lovely retouch work, and skillful makeup application.

I've just recently started in the field of portrait retouching, and would be interested in reading more about your technique for achieving that very smooth look.
