Soundtracks, Jaws, 2001, The Sting, Pink Panther, Laurence of Arabia.................
Lisa, I know who Carmin was.

Most of todays music sucks so bad, I can't bear it. But I have found some worth listening to.
Suzanne Vega - Tom's Diner
Jill Sobule
Eva Cassidy, her version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow will put you away.

The Big News tonite I'm going to see the Eagles, my favorite American group ever. Don Henley is a brilliant writer.

I'm not a huge fan of soundtracks but I do have a few that I listen to on a regular basis...

Blade Runner- soundtrack is composed by Vangelis (same guy who did Chariots of Fire... but 10 times better!)

Last of the Mohicans-

Fight Club

Antartica - also by Vangelis. I never saw the movie. (was not suppposed to be that good)

David - If you like orchestral soundtracks I would definitely give Last of the Mohicans a listen (pretty good movie as well). I also really enjoyed the Lord of the Rings soundtrack.

The Fight Club sondtrack is more techno/ambient type music.... Not for everyone, but IMHO it's one of the most interesting soundtracks ever made.

the Eagles were great, what else could I say. One of the few groups that can't even come close to doing all their material in one concert. It was at the Portland Rose Garden, where the Trail Blazers play. It holds about 20,000 and was full to the max, they even had folks sitting behind the stage, way up. They did three oncors, Hotel California, and Desparado, all in all a great nite for the geezer.

"Hotel california" is a great song, I would've loved to see that one live especially.
