I too hope things won't worsen for us all but I know that can't be. The gauntlet has be thrown down and to keep ignoring their destructive tactics would be the same as condoning it. Tuesday has already proven that when nothing is done the terror escalates. What next, nukes or bio attacks?

They showed the truly heartfelt response of our UK brothern and we knew they, the people, felt our pain. A woman in France was questioned on her response to the attacks at a memorial ceremony and her response was that we are all American now. That was very touching to hear. It helped erase those awful pictures of people dancing in the streets to our suffering.

I think most of all its important to realise that its a humanitarian response. People all over the world have felt a tremendous feeling of horror and revulsion at this act.


The general feeling in my neck of the woods is a humanitarian response to the plight of the victims but in no way is further appeasement recognised as the way forward. Those days have gone.
