I'm a complete novice to retouching software and only found the site by being directed here from another bulletin board... There is so much here that I don't know where to start!

Welcome donovan. My only "helpful hint" is not to discouraged with the learning curves. Hang tough and you will be rewarded with great results.

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie from Wirral, Merseyside, UK. Been taking photos for four years and recently decided I needed to learn more than adjusting levels and curves. I feel lucky to have accidently found this site as it looks a mine of great information and tips.

Re: A Couple of changes to the "Welcome Note..."

Hello everyone. I just joined today. I love Photoshop and retouching is a field I want to learn more about.
I have a Jr. Degree in Computer Science with Graphics my major.
I look forward to learning more and this looks like a fine place to be.
Thanks,
Craig
