About 3 weeks ago, in East Chicago, Indiana, a police officer was said to have shot a family pet dog because it was out of the yard. He supposedly shot the dog in the back as it was walking away from him, and in no way threatening him. This was the story given by witnesses to the shooting. The dog died. There has been an unbelievable protest by many people in the community, and elsewhere locally. This attachment is a clipping from today's newspaper, and it is not related to the above case. Does something sound a little fishy?
