I got the kids a usb piano keyboard and they play around with it, but the other day, I was strolling through my favorite computer hangout and came across a keyboard that had a row of piano keys in front of a regular computer keyboard - now that would be the real thing for a multi-disciplined creative professional.

If you were in the middle of writing the *Great American Novel* and the spirit moved you to write the *Great American Symphony* you could do it without missing a beat!

Take care, Margaret

I must say i downloaded all and i am now listening to them...

I am going to give you the gods honest truth here!

Ambient music is a big "IN" Seriously!!!

I do believe if you got your mind in gear you can quite easily burn cds and sell this music for Ambient music lovers, i do alot of meditation, and as i trained to be a hypnotherapist a few years back i know from experience this kind of music is a hit!

I'll take you up on that offer.
I enjoy writing in a range of styles.
I use Logic Pro 7 on Mac along with various hardware and software synths, guitars and basses and effects and ...

They're all 192K MP3 files with variable bit rate disabled.
They all are brickwall limited at -0.3 dBFS so you can set your volume knob once and be done with it.

The first piece I wrote in April 2003, maybe. It is a mix of sounds with melody on top. It's an introduction to another song I wrote. - 2.2 MB

This piece was written the same day and follows a similar theme.
A little rough around the edges. I never got back to completely cleaning it up but it got the job done. - 1.1 MB

This is the bridge of a little bluesy tune I put together and it's still a work in progress. Gotta cut the full version down from about 6 minutes to 4. - 520 KB

Most of you probably won't like this but I enjoy creating grooves and programming synths (hardware and software). It's a section of a larger piece. - 692 KB

Another one you may not care for but it's a small section so I figured it wouldn't hurt. It's a section out of a larger piece. - 352 KB

This was for a contest I entered (and didn't win).
3/4 of the way into the song it gets a little mellow....sort of. - 3.4 MB

Oh, well.
Enjoy it if you can.

It sounds like we share some of the same influences, particularly Vangelis. But no fair using actual musical ability

One would think I'd be better at this by now, but my computer crashed a few months back and this is the first time since that I've reloaded all the music-making (if you can call it that) software (20-30gb of stuff I didn't want to risk on a dodgy computer).
