The pup likes to nibble, but it won't be long, and the little boy will likely be using his choppers too. He just has to wait till he gets them.

The reason I said watch for the dog is I've got a couple of Dobermanns, and when my sister brings her kids round, it's never a question of the dogs biting the kids, it's always the dogs that need protecting.

Love the photo, they both look cute as can be.

I was trying to get a decent one of the two of them, but with both of them moving pretty swiftly, the shutter lag became a big problem. You weren't the first to mention high fives!
