Welcome to Retouch Pro. I saw your gallery shots and they're excellent. I really liked the one on the bicyle. I thought you colored that one so good it looked like it was taken as a colored image. Awesome job!! Look forward to hearing more from you once you've had a good nights sleep.

Welcome to RP Murray. I didn't get a chance to see your images yet, but I think you'll like it here, whether you're into art or restorations.

Thanks for the welcomes, it's a fascinating website, and thank's to everyone that's had a look at my pics and the feedback, this is the first chance i've had to show them to anyone who does Image Manipulation/resoration. *[ Added a larger pic of the Red Baron to Gallery ]

Welcome aboard Heathrowe. Kick your shoes off, grab a drink, and enjoy. This site has quite a few nooks and crannies that take time to discover.

Hello to All,

My name is Jenny and I currently live in Brisbane, QLD in Australia. I am originally from the Pacific Northwest.

I discovered this online community about three weeks ago when looking for information on how to colourise black and white photos and went straight to Jak's tutorial! I am mesmerized at all the wealth of information on this site!

I am a newbie to the world of PS 7! I have never used any previous versions of Photoshop or any other type of photo editing programs. I bought the commercial version of PS 7 this past June--and after installing the program--I just sat dumbfounded at the screen and thought to myself--WHAT NEXT—HOW DOES THIS THING WORK? That being said, I've learned much in these past few months and wished I’d discovered this site sooner!.

I have a four year Fine Arts degree and find all those skills come alive in using PS 7. I initially bought PS 7 to do fine illustration, but became fascinated doing photo restoration after seeing some of my mother-in-law's old photos. I’ve attached a photo which is my first ever colourisation, due to Jak’s tutorial! I kept to the 50’s feel of colours that might have been around during my mum's life and times. I haven’t as of yet tried a challenge. I hope to do at least one before I head back to university here in Oz to start a three year animation program. Thanks to Doug and all the Retouch members for an awesome site!
