Okay, now I'm going to have to look up "the drones" on Google -- IF I can figure out your clue, then maybe it will give me a hint to the identity of the pixel guy. Gary, you know how to "keep the mystery alive"!
hmmm, which "drones"?
The Drones -- punk rock group,
"Many of the young heroes of the books are members of the Drones Club, situated in the heart of London. It is an establishment where time is passed drinking, betting and telling exaggerated, unlikely stories. Hard up Drones are continually trying all sorts of cunning plans to diddle money out of wealthier club members." -- Drone Club of Belgium re: author P.G. Wodehouse
Bagpipes -- The drones are a straight tube, made in two parts, and a single reed.

Hugh Laurie it is.
I loved his portrayal of Bertie Wooster, and his once comedy duo partner Stephen Fry (IMO) played the definitive Jeeves.
Your turn Mary.
Jeeves gets the credit for finding the answer to your riddles. I had never heard of Hugh Laurie although now that I've seen his bio, I have seen him before. I'll have to look for "Jeeves and Wooster".
Here's an international female.
