Did'nt really think it would be, just a shot in the dark. The highlit area to the left makes recognising the face shape difficult, so guess I'm going to have to wait for a few clues on this one.

Leading men from Spencer Tracy and Gary Cooper to Rex Harrison and Albert Finney. Noted for her wholesome beauty.

My guess would be Audrey Hepburn, since I know she co-starred with all of them except Spencer Tracy (can't remember a film with them together - but I'd love to see one).

I was going to add that I'd never heard of Gary's pixeler, Hugh Laurie, because I haven't, but when I saw his photo, I realized that I've been watching him on TV for the last month as the surly doctor in "House".

Sorry, earlier (and later) than Audrey. You might say she traveled the world.

I agree, CJ, I didn't recognize Hugh Laurie by name either.

CJ, The "House" clue would have been my next, as I've just been reading in my satellite TV mag that it has been shown recently in the states. Unfortunately Mary Lynn got him before I had chance. I thought Hugh might be a bit unknown stateside.

MaryLynn, I've got it this time! It must be Ingrid! Ingrid Bergman starred with Spencer Tracy, Gary Cooper, Rex Harrison, AND Albert Finney.

Gary, not only did I not know the name of the actor in "House", I didn't know he was English. But, from what I've looked up on the internet, I wasn't the only one who didn't recognise him as English, since one of the show's producers thought he was American. "Laurie, who has received early critical praise for House, is self-deprecating about his skilled American accent, attributing it to 'a misspent youth (watching) too much TV and too many movies'."

You got it CJ. It is Ingrid Bergman. She starred with all those men as well as many others. She was in Casablanca, Inn of the Sixth Happiness, Bells of St. Marys, For Whom the Bell Tolls and Murder on the Orient Express to name a few of her movies.

Your turn!
