Color pictures into Black and White

Hello, I am a new member so first hello to all of you
My goal is to convert the best way as possible my color digital images (Canon Rebel)
into black and white images with print in mind.
I am a user of Paint Shop Pro and heard about a Plugin called Retouche Pro, actually that's how I found
out about your forum. I dowloaded the demo, but I have no idea on how to use it except mess up
with all the buttons
Before I used the Chanel Mixer tool and some of the contrast tool.

Anyone has feedback on this or as ever done prints of black and white digital images.

Thanks in advance,

Cotp

There are some very good tutorials on the subject at the following site:

http://www.dynamicartwork.com/articles/digital_bw

They're designed for Photoshop, but I think many of the techniques translate over to PSP.
