Question Some filters not automatable (Script/Action)?

Hey folks,

as I'm getting more professional now I have established a little actions workflow for me. Now there are a few filters that I feel that I need, but they don't seem to be automatable (namely FocusFixer/FocusMagic). They always open their window and wouldn't run quietly at a fixed setting. Is there some (also quick'n'dirty?) way to fix this?

Thanks in advance,

endymi0n

I do not have FocusFixer/FocusMagic, so I cannot give you a specific answer.

I do know that if a plugin is not written to comply with Photoshop requirements, no matter what you do its dialog box will display when its recorded command is played in an action. But, again, I don't know if that applies to FocusFixer/FocusMagic.

My suggestion would be to engage FocusMagic Support Services by sending e-mail to: support@focusmagic.com

If anyone can answer your question, they can.

I hope this helps...

Others such as Noise Ninja offer 2 different versions - a basic version, which doesn't allow actions, and a Pro version which will allow you to save certain settings as part of the action. I don't think FocusMagic have got that sorted yet though, sorry!
