Color Settings in CS2

Does anyone know where the Color Settings dialog box is in CS2? Also, CS2 has a new Color Management box in the Print dialog box with options of No Color Management, Let Printer Determine Colors and Let Photoshop Determine Colors I am confused as to what to set this to.

Glad to hear CS2 is shipping. You'll find the Color Settings under the Edit menu. And if you hold the mouse cursor over the little "i" in the balloon next the the print options, you'll get a little more information. The correct setting depends on your own particular CM workflow.

Thanks Doug!

One other new point:

In the Print with Preview box; under Options-Color Handling, I have selected Let Photoshop Determine Colors.(which is a new feature), And in the Printer Profile I select the ICC profile for the paper I am using. In my case, I selected a Enhanced Matte profile for my Epson 2200. And in the Epson Print dialog box selected the correct paper, and No Color Management.

Does that make sense?

I don't have your printer, so I can't offer exact advice. You have different ICC profiles for individual printer/paper combinations? That's cool.

I would suggest that you select paper type only once, either in PS using the combo ICC you mention, or in the Epson dialog. Either you let PS handle it or the printer, not both

OK, thanks again.

I have it set up and it is printing in correct colors.

I am following the protocol for the Epson 2200 I received some time back at a Epson Print Seminar. It's working, so I'll touch wood, if I can find any in my office, and go from there.

BTW, I have been going through the new features and working through the nice tutorial disk Adobe has provided. I'm sure more members will have lots to comment about as they receive their CS2

regards,

K
