| | | MSVCRT10.dll So, I am adding back the filters I lost when I forgot to save my added Photoshop stuff before I did a reformat on my HD. And after adding the last couple I added, I get two pop ups when starting Photoshop saying it cannot load whatever because MSVCRT10.dll could not be found. And of course the filters are not loading. How do I fix this? Thanks.
Dawn
EDIT: I checked out the Adobe site for this and basicly it just wants you to forget about the plugins. Remove them etc. But these were plugins that were there before and worked before.

| | | Dawn, same thing happened to me a while ago when I was trying to organize my filters.
As I remember the filter wanted a copy of this .dll in it's folder. Besides this one there was another .dll with a very similar name (which I don't remember now).
If you're interested - This .dll cantains is a library of functions used by programs written in C++ (as are many filters).
.and, yes, I do trust thepluginsite.

| | | You can put that dll file in your system32 folder (in windows or WinNT folder depending on what flavour of Windows you are running) and any other related dlls can generally go here as well. |

.and, yes, I do trust thepluginsite. | IMHO best place to put this particular dll is Windows\System (for Win95 and such) or Windows\System32 (for 2000/XP). There shouldn't be any version conflicts because this particular DLL is rarely used and I can't seem to remember different versions of it being available.
What as to thepluginsite, can't agree more. Harald managed to create one of the best, if not just the best, plugin-related sites available.
