what is color matrix 2?

It's some kind of color "tweening" used in Flash animation. I don't do Flash, so I can't be more specific, but I would imagine it would be used to effect colors in a scene that goes from light to shadow without having to actually recolorize the cels.

so, I guess, a colour matrix is a table containing colours .... which colours? ... I guess they could come from the RGB, CMYK, Web Safe, etc. colour ranges ... I also read that cameras have their own colour matrices so,
