Hi Archkre

How did you get on with the X-rays?

Q1
Try
Windows Explorer > Other Places > My Computer
This will then show C: instead of ‘My Documents’

Q2
Try
Filter > Other > Minimum

Hope this Helps

Ken

Ken, I don't know how that works but my Windows is in Portuguese so the names may be different.

Here's my tweak to change the opening folder for explorer.
Right click on the icon you use for Explorer and open Properties.
There you'll see a line like:
Quote:
%SystemRoot%\Explorer.exe
Add to that making:
Quote:
%SystemRoot%\Explorer.exe /e, C:\
Now this icon will open up at C:, you can have other icons that open up at different places.

Thanks Rô.

I think I may have used TweakUi to alter mine.

The method you describe should work.

Here is Microsoft’s Solution.

Quote:
Change the Windows Explorer Default Startup Folder
1) Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, and then right-click Windows Explorer.
2) On the menu that appears, click Properties.
In the Target box, append the "/root" command-line switch to the "%SystemRoot%\Explorer.exe" command, using the startup location that you want. For example, if you want Windows Explorer to start at the root of drive C, edit the command to the following:
3) %SystemRoot%\Explorer.exe /root, C:\
4) Click OK.
Ken.
