Hi Gary.

Yes. I am playing with Phrase Express and The Cannery
http://www.xs4all.nl/%7Efstaal01/cannery-us.html

but Clippings is quicker for shorter things (Like name and address etc)

(I’ve completed MRU 00a and now doing 00b)

Ken.

Long time since I did the exercises, things have changed a lot and the learning structure at MRU is a bit more formal than when I trained there (I used bribery and blackmail to get me through).

I remember thinking the learning curve was steep though, but I'm sure you'll get to grips with things. Have fun and give the teachers over there plenty to do they need the work.

I've DL'd Clippings, and will be having a play with it as soon as I've got a bit of spare time.

Re: Firefox 2 Released

I'm very pleased with Firefox 2's anti-phishing security. I received a "warning e-mail from Paypal" which I figured was a phishing expedition, but decided to open it since I was using my Yahoo account instead of my real one, and wanted to see what Firefox would do if it was a phishing website. I clicked on the link in the email that was supposed to let me log in to Paypal, and immediately received a warning from Firefox and the real url (wasn't paypal). It's a shame that so much has to be added on to our browser to protect us, but I'm glad that they have figured out security helps that do work. BUT I'm not testing it out again -- I'll just keep deleting those spam/phishing critters, and even more importantly, protect my real email address from websites that don't protect my privacy.

I'm not a great fan of Add-ons for Firefox, but this one appealed to me - simple, unobtrusive and pretty (the Add-on, not me )

Colourful Tabs

I use this myself, makes it easy to differentiate tabs when you've got a lot open.

Unlike Ro, I'm a great fan of add-ons, and have quite a few.
