Can anybody help?

I have just turned on Photoshop and my Curves Dialogue Box is now, all of a sudden, registering colors in terms of percentages rather than on a scale of 1 - 255 as it used to. I am in RGB color (that was my first thought - perhaps the image was in a different mode) and I have checked the Preferences but I can't find anything there. I didn't change anything either. I am rather puzzled as to how this could have happened and it is rather tedious trying to work out that 80% red is the same as 204. Does anyone have any ideas?

Okay, I figured it out. I must have inadvertently clicked on one of those little arrows at the bottom of the Curves Dialogue Box. It not only changes it to percentages but also inverts the curve so that an upward facing curve becomes a curve that darkens and vice versa. Quite neat.

Glad you found the answer -- figuring percentages is probably good practice for our brain, but no fun when you just want to know if a skin tone is within normal range.
