[FPS] Free Plugin Shoutout (or Shootout)

To encourage and celebrate the free plugin community, I thought it would be a good idea for us to experiment and exploit these wonderful tools.

Here's the rules:

1) Start a new thread for each new plugin
2) Title of thread starts with [FPS] and has name of plugin
3) Include link to plugin download page (hopefully on developer's site)
4) Attach (don't link) to show what you've done with the plugin

Then everyone else joins in by replying to the thread and attaching images that they've made using the same free plugin. Don't hijack the thread by discussing other free plugins, even if they're from the same developer. Start a new [FPS] thread. But discussion of tips, opinions, and tricks for that thread's plugin are welcome.

Please also, advise us if the plug in is Mac/PC compatible.

Re: [FPS] Free Plugin Shoutout (or Shootout)

Here's some help:
http://www.freephotoshop.com/html/plugins_types.html (look for those with an asterisk)
http://www.thepluginsite.com/resources/freeps.htm

Also, you can search for "[FPS]" (without quotes) to find the FPS entries.

Re: [FPS] Free Plugin Shoutout (or Shootout)

I was looking for a particular plugin and came across this today. They might provide some inspiration (Windows-only, sorry):

Re: [FPS] Free Plugin Shoutout (or Shootout)

and here's a simple tip for those looking for plugins for photoshop and paint shop pro and any other program that uses .8bf type plugins. do a google on .8bf. you'll find over 200,000 hits to that search. that doesnt mean 200,000 plugins, but you can find a lot of plugins using that.

Re: [FPS] Free Plugin Shoutout (or Shootout)

I know this is not really about this particular subject but, Doug, I remember looking at a recent post by someone asking how to add scanlines to an image and on the site here you linked to http://www.richardrosenman.com/software/downloads/ there is a plugin just for that(third one down). Can anyone remember seeing that thread, and has it been resolved? it would be nice to link them to the plugin.

FPS - Autointerlace

Autointerlace automatically creates the interlace effect you see on television screens. The plugin is freeware.

Example is a pano I made a few years ago. It looks best if viewed full size, so click on through the viewer.
