Software - - My DH got me Adobe photoshop!!!!!

I am so excited!! I woke up to a big kiss on my forehead and my husband whispering, "There's a present waiting for you on the computer..." Just like out of a movie... Well, a movie only I would probably enjoy, but still! Heehee!!! I knew he'd gotten it, but I didn't know when it would be here, and he even installed it. Whatta stud! Yay, so now, I can actually follow the tutorials on here and conquer the mighty Adobe! Woohoo! Be excited with me!!

Whatta man! Knows how to wake you up romantically and gives you presents and installs them for you and lets you use your time doing something else you love (including some time for him, of course!!).

If there is a 12-step program for digital editing, I don't wanna know about it...

Yep, he's the best ever. I just mentioned in passing the other day that it would be ever so much better for me to have Adobe rather than Paint Shop to retouch photos. Well, less than a week later, it is on my computer. Woohoo! I am so excited. Now I just have to learn to navigate the new program and tackle some fun tutorials. I've been attempting that So So Sexy one. Her eyes are looking funky, but it doesn't suck as bad as it could...

Meg what a pressie Lucky girl, Boy are you going to have some fun, Now forget working, housework, socialising etc etc
For tutorials there are some on this site in the tutorial section, but also look in the threads on the forums there is a encyclopedia of information a lot of people put there work flows there, and are only to willing to answer questions

But here is a web site for actions ( you dont get them in psp, and i think are a good way of learning how to do things, at first you just run them, then you look at how they work, then you go solo and do things for yourself, eventually you will make your own )

Oh, thank you, Palms!! I will go check that site out today. Yeah, housework and socializing stopped a few months back! Haha! JKJK. (Sort of...) Hee!

Yesterday, I was such a good girl. I went grocery shopping and hung out with the girls. But, then... Mwa-haha! I searched Adobe PS tutorials, and did Retouch challenge 44. Oh, man! That was so cool! I was so proud of myself because I watched this video tutorial on whitening teeth and the guy on the video was magically making his brush size go up and down and (also magically) zooming in and out. I was like, "How the heck is he doing that??" Well, seconds later, I was reading through a tut on smoothing skin and there were my answers! Brackets and ctrl++! Yay! I know, I am such a beginner! *Sigh* But, I will be amazing in no time... Right?

Heehee. K, gotta go do more challenges and read more tutorials and, oh man... Good thing my husband's working late, huh? No dinner! Woohoo! But, tomorrow... Enchiladas! Too much fun! K, love ya and thanks everybody for the help! Love, Meg
