What happened to my colours?

I have just downloaded IE 7 and now when I go into Retouch Pro writing that used to be black appears purple or a shade inbetween. Two letters in purple then one in black...Does anyone else have this problem or is it once again just one of my machine's little idiosyncracies?! It is quite disconcerting and has me feeling giddy - as if I have been staring at one of those eye test patterns too long.

Sounds trippy. Is it just RP? Try taking a screenshot and opening it in an image editor. Also, clear your cache (you can clear cache for one single page by holding ctrl and hitting refresh). And you can try starting IE7 in No Add-Ons mode (should be an option in your Start menu).

I tried emptying the cache but that doesn't work. Do you mean Windows "Start"? I can't find anything there.

Here are two screenshots. The first one is at 100% and the second is at 1200%.
It is really quite weird. If I open any pics in any of the forums they seem more saturated than usual. It seems (although I can't be certain) to have only affected Retouch Pro.
