interesting video

As one without creative ability, I found this interesting and did not realize it could be done in Photoshop.
Anyone have a clue how it's done?

Well, first you have to be able to draw. Obviously this was done by someone who had a natural talent.

Then you have to have the right tools. A Wacom tablet would be a must.

And finally you would have to have a pretty dang good working relationship with Photoshop.

Re: interesting video

Chauncey... I can't draw a lick so it is amazing to me THAT he did it. But obviously, he used a Wacom, pencil brushes of various size and opacity to draw the shapes and soft shadows. Then he built up the drawn detail.

As for colorizing, I saw the color picker flash by as well has Hue Saturation dialgos. I think I also detected color overlays.

But it still takes someone who can DRAW. And someone who can draw AND has a basic understanding of Photoshop should be able to figure it all out.

Re: interesting video

I can do this to but for the lack of three things: a Wacom tablet, patience, and talent. lol

I think Craig's comments pretty much echo my own thoughts whilst watching.

Obviously a very talented draughtsman and artist.

Had to turn off the volume so that I couldn't hear the awful "music" that accompanied the video, but that aside I enjoyed it immensely.
