Batch Resize

I always shoot RAW and I have just gone through about 100 RAW images and saved as jpegs. For some reason most of them are now only 72ppi? Is there a way of resizing up to 300 ppi as a Batch Process in PS3 ?

Re: Batch Resize

Why in the world would you want to save RAW files as JPEG??? Okay, fine for a quick email or posting to the web, but for 300 PPI you need to be saving as TIFF. You don't get a choice of DPI when saving JPEG. Basically it's high, medium and low res. And everytime you save a JPEG you lose information due to compression.

Burn your RAWs to CD. Save any adjusted or color corrected as 300 DPI TIFF. Yeah, it takes a lot more disk space, but you don't degrade your files like you do when saving as JPEG.

Re: Batch Resize

Hi maverick,
I'm with Swampy here, why would you not want to save the "raw" files?
Anyway, you could always record an action to do it, just Google, record resize action.....

Re: Batch Resize

Thanks guys. Yeh I know I shouldn't save as jpeg. It was just some shots from an air show that I wont be printing and I just wanted to use for a Proshow Slideshow.
