Adobe HSB/HSL Plugin

Does anyone have the Adobe HSB plugin that comes on the CD but does not seem to be on the download (which is how I got my copy).
I know there are some posts here for third party plug ins but i would prefer to get hold of the original Adobe one if I can.
Thanks in advance if anyone can help

Re: Adobe HSB/HSL Plugin

How do I use it?
Can I use it to create Saturation Mask? Is it the "New" Green Channel?

Thanks.

Re: Adobe HSB/HSL Plugin

Each H,S,B channel is transposed in respectively the R,G and B channel, which means saturation is the green channel.

The Adobe link to this 'legacy plug-in' is in the first post by AndrewD2.

Re: Adobe HSB/HSL Plugin

The Sat channel in HSL and HSB is a very different thing from the Sat blending mode. While they are some-what similiar, the subtlies in their formulas can make a difference.

If you want to fiddle around, I recommend SF Color Space Converter

http://www.simpelfilter.de/en/imaging/converter.html

You can use that to quickly compare Sat channels from different spaces. And do other things. Don't forget that the blending mode friendly colour space is HsY.
