ok so i was thinking we should make a best free software file. Here is some stuff that i use a lot.

For simple vectors i use, http://www.inkscape.org/
If you dont have photoshop, i like http://www.gimp.org/

Also I love http://picasa.google.com/ for photo management and simple printing

need some stock images fast i use http://www.sxc.hu /

http://neatimage.com/ a great noise remover, I have the paid commercial version but there is a free version for home use


I love the site http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/ sometimes i find some programs there. also http://www.download.com/ has some nice programs too.

Good idea Mathew (Bob) you need to get Ikroll in on it as well bet he knows tons of free software

The only thing that Matt has and I don't is Picassa. lol

Since we are talking about free (including places like Stock Exchange), I will also mention some cool free image hosting sites such as ImageShack and ImageOx. Also, for huge files (and of any type I might add, not just images), I use Mediafire.

antivirus and spyware i think are good to post here too DannyRaphael, thanks for that link. also avast I use to scan client files before i down load the files. yo never can be too safe to protect your computer. Avast is Free too! for home use
