| | Is TwistingPixels still in business? I'm having no luck getting replies from TwistingPixels by email, their website is dated 2006 and it's been that long since I've heard from anybody there, even though they released some new plug-ins earlier this year.
I plan to call them next week (I just Googled their phone number), but in the meantime, does anybody know anything about this?

| | | Re: Is TwistingPixels still in business? Yes, thanks, I've seen their website (dated 2006), that's not the problem. But try emailing every address on the Contact page and see what happens (!). At this point they're pulling a Flaming Pear on me... |

| | | Re: Is TwistingPixels still in business? But that purchase was not through Twisting Pixels, right? At the moment their website loads only a background color; the other pages are accessible if you know the direct addresses and downloads still work.
But TP dropped its advertising from a certain magazine they were in earlier this year. If you do a WhoIs search on their domain and Google the address that comes up--assuming the listing is up to date and they are still there--you'll find some local newspaper results where someone at that address had a run-in with the law (again, this may be a previous tenant or someone unrelated, etc.).
So it's all adding up to be not good news for TP. |

| | | Re: Is TwistingPixels still in business? What I meant to say is that you can find some of their stuff on eBay UK.
And well if they go out of business it is not surprising because I guess not many people are interested buying the stuff.
If it wasn't for the very low price, I would not have bought them really.
A couple more toys I will hardly ever use. |

| | | Re: Is TwistingPixels still in business? I bought both from apparently private individuals reselling their Serif editions. I was the only bidder on both auctions. I got both for 99p I think. The Pixel Creation Bundle is the exact same as the one from Twisting Pixel directly (or I think so as I haven't actually installed it but simply activated the demo of it I had installed with the serials that were printed on the CD case) and Serif was retailing that one for £129 I think whereas the other is a wizard version only.
So there isn't an abundant supply of them there but they crop up from time to time and for rather cheap usually. |

| | | Re: Is TwistingPixels still in business? Hi,
The full range of TwistingPixels products are available from http://www.virtualpainter5.com at the same prices as the TwistingPixels webstore.
I've been having the same problems as you and stumbled across the VirtualPainter5 website quite by accident. I'd noticed your forum thread during an earlier Google expedition trying to find these elusive plugins so I thought I'd better come back and tell you.
All the best. Bob |

| | | Re: Is TwistingPixels still in business? Thanks Bob! They seem to be a third-party reseller. Perhaps they have boxed copies on hand, but I wonder about further support if the original developer has disappeared? |
