| Re: Question about Painter X Hi say i open a file ---make a clone copy do abit of work and want to save both how do I open them up again and start working ie it seems I can only open 1 file if I open the clone copy what do I clone from hope this makes sense |

| Re: Question about Painter X If you have opened an image and used FILE>CLONE and then you have a painting in process you have two images open: the original image and the CLONE OF version. Save them both so there are two images now saved. To go back and paint again FILE>OPEN and open the ORIGINAL image and the CLONE OF painting. Then go to FILE>CLONE SOURCE and set the clone source for the original image. In work flow btw I never keep the words CLONE OF on any file when it is saved. Instead I change the name to a version number or notes about it. File might be named: girl.jpg_WIP_01 Meaning...Work in Process First Save. Hope that helps you!
