| Yesterday, my PS blur filters (all of them) stopped working. When I select them from the menu, nothing happens at all. The gaussian blur menu does not appear. Even the blur effect in the Power Stroke plug in does not work. However, the blur tool still works. I re-installed PS and reset the preferences file using the ctrl-alt-shift reset on program startup. No effect. This is an any image, not just one particular one, by the way. |

| Re: PS CS3 Blur filters stopped working Verywierd, Yes, that is very wierd It sounds like you may have recently started editing RAW images, rather than jpeg's. Or, maybe editing other formats as well in 16-bit mode. Many (most) filters are not available to 16-bit mode. You will have to adjust your workflow and only use the filters once you save your 16-bit file, then convert to 8-bit for the final modifications. |
