PD Particles.

Give-a-Way is giving this gem away for the next 24 hours (well, 23 hours now). I'm not a painter, but I do have Deep Paint (which is free) and can tell you that this gem is a little more complete then DP. Even at $19, it would be worth it for the painters out there, but for the day, it's an even better deal (free; ).

Re: PD Particles.

Almost makes me wish I had a Wacom (I did say almost; lol). Don't feel shy of spreading the word about this free (at least for today) gem to others either. I just with GAOTD would share more free photo-editing software like they did a few months ago. Hopefully this is the start of something good again over there (at least for a little while).

Re: PD Particles.

Looks cool Peter. It does offer velocity detection for mouse strokes which is cool, but you are not going to beat pressure detection.

Re: PD Particles.

Didn't want to start another thread, but now GAOTD is giving out PD Artist; another offshoot from the Project Dogwaffle team. Since I already have PD Particles, I don't know if I'm going to install this one too, but it is free (for the next 24 hours that is).
