Re: Coversion from tif to jpg

I noticed there are a number of batch image conversion programs on the web, but so far each cost some $ to download. Any free ware you'd recommend? Can this be done in Adobe Bridge?

Mind if I answer that one?
In Bridge: select your images > tools > photoshop > image processor
it is quite easy from there, just select jpg, and your compression setting (high is less compressed) and click Run.

Yep, and resize, if you have horizontal and vertical images put the same value in both boxes...

Re: Coversion from tif to jpg

i know you finished your task but here is a very fast way inside photoshop and no action is needed. but you can attach an action to this technique also if you need to.

inside photoshop. under file menu, select scripts then image processor. set parameters (choose files ect.) click "run". and you have your jpgs in no time at all.
works like a champ, also works for saving to tif and psd's.
