Computer setup issue

Not that I'm computer illiterate, but I certainly don't know the quick answer for this. I just installed corel album 7 on my computer and it has become my automatic photobrowser for email, explorer, etc. How can I change back to default "windows picture" or some other picture browser? thanks

Re: Computer setup issue

hi,
well you have to reassociate the file extention to the programs you want to be the default.... different ways to do this, this is just one way

example: jpg files....

1. use your windows explorer
2. locate any jpg file
3. hilight and right click the file
4. the click "open with" and choose browse
5. choose (hilight) the program you want to be the default and then checkmark "always use...."
6. click ok....

the program will now be the default program for the jpg...
for other formats repeat the process
