My current website is basically created with canned templates from Dynamo. It serves the purpose, but I want to improve my site. Does anyone have any recommended "canned template" photo web providers that you'd recommend? I know sites that I really like. I assume to get what I want I must have it designed from scratch?

A suggestion would be to inquire with the owners of the sites that appealed to you. If it came from a template then you may be able to purchase that template, too.

If it came from a web design company then you can contact them and find out if they can design something similar yet unique for your site.

Yep. I use Dreamweaver and so do most of the "web gurus". Expensive, but it does come with templates. I've also used iWeb (Mac) for simple things like putting a QuickTime video up on my page.
